This shooting experience features five weapon systems, Glock 17, .357 Magnum revolver, AK-47, .22 LR high precision ‘sniper’ rifle and the UTS-15 shotgun, as well as 160 rounds. It is suitable for individual shooters or small groups – up to 3 participants. The aim of this shooting experience is for you to try and operate a variety of weapon systems – a powerful .357 Magnum revolver, an AK-47, the ultimate police 12 Gauge Shotgun – the UTS-15, a .22 LR high precision ‘sniper’ rifle and a 9mm Glock 17. During this tryout you will shoot 160 rounds.
The shooting experience covers the following topics:
- Description of weapon system & parts
- How to ensure weapon in safe state and firearm safety procedures
- Drills: load, ready, fire, change magazine, stop firing, unload and make safe
- Intro to marksmanship principles and stances (standing & prone positions)
- Various target drills
